Hey everyone, i have found a listing for a prop shop in my local area, which also does customising of props.

I have a SS Powertech prop, which i am interested in taking in for a bit of tidying up around the edges, and possibly some extra cupping, and price pending, some thinning.

I have never had a prop altered before, so i have no idea on how much to expect to pay. If someone can tell me roughly what i could be in for that would be very much appreciated.

That way i have a bit of a rough idea, and i will know if their price is reasonable, otherwise i can try to negotiate, or look into getting the prop done at a different store.

Thanks guy's:)

Hey guy's im having an issue with the shalllow water drive on my Tohatsu. With the lever down in the lock position, it still moves up and down. With the lever up and on shallow drive, the leg dosen't go back down lifting and pushing down the lever, i must actually put my hand underneath and grab the bar/plate whatever is it, and move it down myself. It is driving me nuts trying to figure it out, and it is most likely something very simple that i'm just not seeing, i.e something snapped off?

I've currnetly got my motor apart, power head out, leg off, for repainting and replacing mounts, and i'm wondering can i just pull off everything that is to do with the shallow drive unit? I don't need shallow drive in a sib, but will i still be able to bring my motor all the way up and have it sit there?

Is anyone familiar with the surf lifesaving setup? I know they don't lock into place so they can pull up on the beach, but not sure what is done to them.

Hell Just sold my last inflatable ( Gemini grx ) and wasn't planning on getting another but plans have changed and im thinking Aquarius or Ceasar I have heard different things about each so am not sure what is true.

I want i new hull and im not going to race, i have a 50 Tohatsu and SS prop.

Iv heard that the Aquarius transom is superior and the seems are welded and much better, But Ceasars are heavier and wider and use a better fabric and will last longer.

The boats that race in Sydney seem to be all Aquarius bar a few, so i was leaning to them.

Let me know what you think>>>
